Our dedicated family team has expert knowledge of every floor type and we can talk you through the flooring options with your individual requirements and budget in mind in order to come up with the perfect floor for your home – whether it’s laminate, vinyl, LVT, rugs or wall-to-wall carpets from one of our brands from our extensive range of end-of-roll and remnant options.
Once you have decided on the right flooring options, we can visit home to measure the area and to ensure the flooring will work with your existing sub floor. We will then provide you with an accurate quote either for supply only or with our full fitting service.

Our staff are fully trained in every product we sell. We are able to answer any question you may have from the basic pros and cons of each product to more in-depth details.
Estimating & Measuring
We offer a no-obligation measuring and planning service. We can also show you where joins could be placed in order to save materials and cost and will advise on all aspects of the fitting.

Uplift & Removal
Having a new carpet or hard floor fitted can transform your home and is often the final touch to your newly decorated room, pulling your interior design vision together.
Once your carpet or flooring has been fitted, we want you to kick back and enjoy it straight away. However, with most flooring jobs preparation is key. There is likely to be an existing carpet or flooring to come up, which can be hard work as it can be a dirty and dusty task. Furniture needs to be moved, the old carpet and underlay needs to be ripped up and staples or nails need to be safely removed and prepared for safe disposal. Then there’s where to take it – carpet is bulky and large, requiring several trips to the refuse centre, or paying a professional refuse company to take it away.
At Vallance Discount Carpets you can leave the hard work to the professionals with our uplift and removals service, enabling you to enjoy your carpet from the moment it has been installed. For a small fee, our fitters can move furniture, uplift your old carpet and hard flooring and responsibly dispose of it, leaving you nothing to do about except enjoy your new floor!
When you place an order for carpet, laminate or luxury vinyl, simply mention that you would like this service and we will provide you with details of the cost.
On the day before our fitters arrive, we request that any small items are moved along with the contents of bookcases or sideboards to make it easier to move furniture.
